This 2000 project is a renovation of an 18th century farmhouse and estate that had last been modified in the 1930s. Skylights, dormers, and double-height spaces transformed a dark farmhouse into an open, naturally-lit interior. All work was done in the spirit of the existing design and material vocabulary with the goal of providing an elegant and bright backdrop for the family's magnificent art collection.
