The Gateway School is a 12,000 square foot townhouse in downtown New York City renovated and expanded to contain six classrooms, a gymnasium and other functions. The Gateway School accommodates 50 children with learning disabilities, including teachers and staff. The school has been published extensively and has received a 2001 AIA Award for Excellence.
